Count it All Joy!

Matthew 6:33 (paraphrased)

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you".

This scripture has become my life. We are to acknowledge God in all we do, and He will direct our path. I learned the hard way God knows what's best. You would think if you serve God, you would automatically trust Him. But this was not the case with me. I had been hurt so many times, that I did not trust people, and I was angry with God.

However now, I have come to appreciate the sovereignity of God. He knows all, He sees all, and He only wants the best for us. My Aunt use to say, "God is a gentlemen, He will not force us to do anything". The word of God also tells us to count it all joy when we fall into trails. How can you be happy when you are going through a trail? Trails, and persecutions will come; but we can rest and have joy knowing this will pass. Knowing that the Most High God has everything in control. Life can seem like a roller coaster ride, filled with uncertainity, but one thing we can be sure of.

God will never leave us or forsake us. I encourage you today to not let what you see around you, get you down, or make you feel discouraged. Have joy knowing that we know the end, we come out victorious. So we can count it all joy, because it's not what's around us that makes us happy. It's not our children, husband, career, or any material possesion. It is the Creator, the One who made us, molded us, and shaped us, the One who breathed in us. Walk by faith, Rest in His Soveriegnity, Be confident because the battle is won, in the name of Jesus!
