The word of God says that the Joy of the Lord is our strength. That is so true, to be able to fuel yourself with the joy of the Lord is pure motivation. It's being positive in negative situation. It's not allowing our circumstances to define our mood, but allowing the peace and joy we get from the Lord to keep us centered. I must admit there are many times I have let my emotions led me inside of the Holy Spirit. The truth is we have all fallen short of His Glory.
But I have come to learn obedience is better than scarifice. God is looking for our obedience. We must allow the Holy Spirit to produce in us His fruit. We must be sensitive to His leading and submissive to His guidance.
The greatest lesson I have learned after recieving salvation, was this-recieving Jesus as Lord. Letting Jesus take the wheel, giving him full control and complete trust. Coming into maturity I have learned; to let patience have her perfect work. The word of God tells us if we are going to follow Jesus we must pick up our cross daily. He will never put more on us then we can bear. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Nothing is impossible him, He can do all things-but fail!
