Tradition or Relationship?

This month we celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. I will never forget the day I gave my life to the Lord. I think what is most important to realize is once we accept Jesus as our personal Savior it does not end there. It's not just about going to church, and reading your Bible and praying. All those things are great and they are needed, but relationship should be your focus as well. Its the reason why you read your Bible, pray and go to church.

For some Easter is just a day to get dressed up, and listen to a sermon and go home and live, life without change. We are celebrating the oppurtunity to be able to be reconciled back to God, to have a relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. So I challege you this week really think about what April 14, 2017-April 16, 2017 is so important. Why are you really celebrating is it just tradition? Or is it celebrating and remembering what Jesus did for us?
