I believe one of the hardest lessons to learn is letting go of your past, but it has the most rewarding benefits. Letting go is never easy. However it is neccessary. Learning how to let go, and getting the strength to do so comes from the word of God. In the word of God there are so many treassures, life lessons, and golden nuggets that we can glean from.
We become a double threat to the enemy when we are filled with the word of God, the Spirit of God which in turn produces power. Power to live holy, Power to produce the fruits of the spirit, Power to cause change. When we are able to let go of what is not needed we are able to be filled with the power of the living God in all new ways.
What we are able to achieve in the spirit of the Lord, comes from the Power of God, the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit and Activating our Faith in Him! Therefore as long as we hold on to the past, emotional baggage, and unforgiviness we hinder ourselves from truly growing and maturing in God. The word of God tells us that God is doing a new thing, that when we are in Christ we are a new creation and old things are pasted away.
So I challenge you on today to get filled with the Spirit, feast on the word of God, and allow your faith to take you to higher heights and deeper levels in Christ Jesus!
