Galatians 5:7 "You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth"?
This is a powerful scripture, it can bless us in so many area's in our lives. Like you well doing well on your job, what hindered you? You were excelling in school, what delayed you? You were fighting the good fight of faith, who discouraged you and hindered you from following the truth? The word of God is ment for every area of our life. The word of God, is truth and none can stand against it. If the truth be told it has always been on the best-selling list! We are running a race, and in this race you must fight. You must push yourself. You must encourage yourself. You must give it your all. Many times we can start out good, but we may not finish well. The power of God, the Holy Spirit empowers us to start well and end well. The Holy Spirit allows or enables us to keep a good strade and pace in our race. You see this race is personal, there maybe many runners, but its not about the person to right of you or to the left of you. In order to win this race, you must stay focused on the finish line and you must keep in mind, what is truly important.
There is a scripture that reads, Isaiah 26:3 "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you". We must trust that as we run this race God has graced us with all we need to finish. That means when lacks shows up it is not a distraction because I already have what I need. God has supplied and He will supply. When pain shows up, I am not overcome because even in pain I trust you! So I ask you today, who has hindered you? Who told you, you could not make it? Who told you, you will never be nothing? Who told you, you are not worth it? Who broke your heart? Who let you down? Who was it that hurt you?
No matter what "they" did you can get back up again. No matter what "they" said, you do not have to recieve a lie. The truth is it may have been mommy, it may have been daddy, it may have been your friend, whoever is your "they" is not really your "they"! It was the enemy that motivated that person, the "they's" in your life to speak against the call of God on your life. But you don't answer to them. My sister, my brother, get back up again: don't slow down. Pick up the pace and run again!
