Teaching-Favor

Prayer: Father we come to you now just giving you all the honor and the praise because truly you are worthy, in the name of Jesus. We ask for your presence and your Glory to fall in this house, in the name of Jesus. We ask that you forgive us of our sins, we repent and we ask you to cover us in your blood in the name of Jesus. We love you so much, and we just want all of you and more of you. Fill us to overflowing, Have your divine way, and come to us face to face Jesus. None of me but all of you, in Jesus name we pray. Speak through me, in all our getting let us get an understanding in Jesus name Amen!

Title: Favor Us Lord

Scripture: Psalm 45:7 “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows”.

All I can say is wow! The Lord is great and greatly to be praise. This is the scripture the Lord led me to for Bible Study tonight. God has been so real, just as real as our struggles and challenges. But God is greater, and that is what we have to keep mind. No matter what we may be facing, God is always greater, bigger, and in control.

Let’s get right into the word of the Lord, the writer as penned a beautiful Psalm. I really want to focus on the message God is a righteous God and we are clothed in righteousness not of ourselves; but through Jesus. God loves us but he hates sin. So this verse is a perfect balance of the nature of God, and what he gives and offers us as believers. We must go beyond Salvation, which is great but that is not all there is to God. As we receive the free gift of salvation, we become a learner of Christ, to follow him. As a disciple of Christ we must have his same attitude, love righteous, or his right way of living, and hate sin: disobedience. Having said that, as we take on not just the Lord’s attitude but the heart of God, and truly seek his face above all else. We find something amazing, the favor of God!

Relationship, Relationship, Relationship is so very important, that is relationship with Jesus. None can come to the Father except by Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The favor of God is better than silver and gold. The favor of God can do things that money can’t do. The favor of God, is not given to everyone. But I have found if you take the time to seek God out of love and admiration. He will show his appreciation by favoring you. Let us all pray for favor with God first, and then favor with all those we need favor with to do the will of the Father.
