Prayer: Father we come to you right now giving you all honor and praise. For you are worthy in this place. We ask that you have your way on today. We are submissive unto your will, your guidance and your instructions. In all our getting let us get and understanding. Let your word take root in our hearts to bring about godly change in our lives. We decree and declare that we are soul winners: we decree and declare that we love you with our whole hearts and show your love to others, we decree and declare that you are the one and only God, we decree and declare that KMI and everyone connected to it has seen Jesus face to face, we decree and declare that KMI is in a wealthy place, we decree and declare that KMI takes the Gospel, Kingdom message and face to face movement around the world to all the nations (nationally and internationally) in the name of Jesus. Lord enlarge our territory, bless us indeed, keep us from temptation and pain that would not cause pain to others. We submit unto you and resist the devil and he must flee, NOW, in the name of Jesus. We decree and declare that No weapon formed against our ministries, finances, careers, education, jobs, employment, income, businesses, families, children, relationships, spouses, marriages shall prosper in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
Scripture: James 5:14- “Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord”.
Exodus 40:9 -"Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall consecrate it and all its furnishings; and it shall be holy”.
Exodus 30:25 -“And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil”.
Title: Anointing oil and the Anointing.
We give God all the glory on today. We have been talking about Anointed oil, so I wanted to take some time to do a teaching on it briefly. So I have chosen three scriptures to start our study on this topic. Before we can really talk about the anointing oil or blessed oil we need to talk about the anointing. To anoint would mean in the physical since to have oil smeared on you. By doing this would mean you are set apart for God’s use, not just in the five fold ministry but in general. It is very holy and should be treated with respect. It also means to be shield, this would be the spiritual aspects that the anointing is symbol of us being shielded or covered by the blood of Jesus as believers. Anointing oil also can be use not only to anoint ourselves, your body, those who will serve in ministry, but as a sign of worship personally to the Lord, as well as object can be anointed therefore making them holy. The anointing figuratively is a sign of symbol of faith of God’s power, and protection, and in many ways his election. This action “Of being anointed” is to ignite your faith, empower you to serve God in in capacity, and reverence to God saying I am yours and you are mine. There is no power in the oil, but when the oil is combined in prayer is is symbolic and I believe supernaturally changed as a point of contact for God’s presence, power, Holy Spirit, and healing virtue.
Let’s look at our scriptures…
James 5:14-Let’s us know that the anointing oil can be used to heal the sick by the Elders, Leader of the Church.
Exodus 40:9-Lets us know the the anointing oil can be used or was used to anoint objects within the tabernacle. Which made the objects Holy.
Exodus 30:29-Lets us know again that anointing oil is sacred, Holy, and like perfume.
I just wanted to get across the important of the anointing and the oil, so that we are aware of why it is used. It is very important that along with attending Bible Study at your local church or within this online ministry that, you understand the importance of knowing the word of God for yourselves. That way no one can sway you with false doctrine or no false prophet can persuade you into thinking something or believing something that is not accurate or does not line up with the word of God.
In order to have a personal relationship with Jesus, you need to study the word of God personally not just on Sunday, or on the time you gather with believers for bible study. You also need to pray for others which is called intercession but also pray personally for yourself. Prayer is community with God, its talking to him, not just about others, or asking him for things. But it is always about listening for his answer, telling him your feelings and emotions. Being intimate with him, intimacy not in the form of sex, but being close to him. God is real, and can manifest himself to you face to face, but in order to be reconciled back to God, we must first go through Jesus. It's not enough to just read the words in the bible, pray scriptures, speak the word of God out loud, decree and declare what you are believing God for. Anoint yourself with oil in honor of the fact that you belong to him. Lay hands on yourself for the same power which was in Jesus is the same power that is in you, if you a saved!
Would you like to have a life with Jesus? Would you like to give your life to Christ? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Did you know him once and walked away? God still loves you, Jesus loves you. God will never leave or forsake you and he is waiting for you with open arms. If you are ready to receive him or come back to him, Prayer this prayer…Out Loud.
Lord forgive me of my sins, I repent of all the things I have done wrong. Come into my heart Jesus save me! I believe that the Father sent you his only son to die for me on the cross. That you were born of a virgin, and dyed on the cross for my sins. That you were resurrected on the third, day and you have all power over death, hell, and the grave. I believe that you are alive and well and sitting and the right hand of the Father. I want nothing to do with the devil or the kingdom of satan, I belong to God now in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
